Today, 21 years ago, marks the very first performance put on by The Gourmet Detective!!! Congratulations to everyone for playing along, entertaining our audiences and our audiences entertaining us. Whomever has played a role, big or small, over the past 21 years we salute you and thank you. We are blessed to be involved in a business whose sole responsibility is to put smiles on people’s faces. We hope we can continue doing so for a long time into the future!

Along the way we have performed more than 5,000 shows, served over 300,000 dinners, committed over 15,000 crimes (none punishable by law), and have won 20+ Awards ranging from Best Dinner Show to Best Music and Best of Nightlife. Congrats again and thank you.

William Shakespeare said it best, but we’ve decided that actually a better description of our show’s experience is “to play is the thing.” At the Gourmet Detective it is up to the audience member to determine how involved they get in the story and the solving of the mystery. Both of our current murder mystery dinner shows playing in Orange County and Riverside, CA are interactive mysteries. That means, you solve it. By asking questions, investigating for behind the scene’s clues you can not just solve the mystery, but win the super sleuth award and win the opportunity to have your solution played out in the end.
